The Project aims to:

  • Reduce impediments to education faced by marginalised children.
  • Assimilate them into the schooling system to complete formal education
The Together Project, in collaboration with national charitable organisations, has established tuition-free schools titled ‘Assalam’, to cater to the diverse population in Qatar.
  • The First Assalam School provides children of non-Arab heritage, facing barriers to education, with schooling from Year 1 to Year 6, based on the Cambridge International Curriculum.
  • The Second Assalam School provides children of Arab heritage, facing barriers to education, with schooling from Grade 1 to Grade 12, through the Qatar National Curriculum.
The schools provide formal education in Qatar to children from countries including Pakistan, the Philippines, India, Syria, Yemen, Sudan, Bangladesh, Iran, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Sri Lanka, Palestine, Egypt and Jordan.
