Qatar Scholarship/American University of Beirut (AUB)– A project of Al Fakhoora

EAA in collaboration with the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, enable marginalised Lebanese, Palestinian and Syrian youth in Lebanon to pursue an undergraduate degree at the US-accredited American University of Beirut. Syrian and Palestinian refugees are allocated 30% of the total scholarships, while 70% of the scholarships are allocated to marginalised Lebanese nationals.

The scholarship project aims to

Award 400 scholarships to deserving young women and men.
Provide quality higher education with a focus on professional mentoring and/or internships to address the challenges of youth employment in the region.
Focus on enabling and empowering youth to become engaged, productive, inspirational civic-minded individuals who can adapt and excel in their challenging environments.
