Engaging Youth as Global Citizens – A project of Reach Out To Asia (ROTA)

Through global citizenship education, this project aims to empower and equip youth as leaders and active global citizens with the skills needed to lead others into a movement of climate action across Vietnam. This project will support young people to take action and contribute towards achieving climate-focused Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It will enable youth to unite as a network and engage youth across the country, while also making significant contributions to local, national, and international platforms. This will enable decision makers to invest more time, space and resources in youth as leaders in sustainable change and climate action. The Project has also increased knowledge and skills of the youth towards becoming active global citizens and young leaders of change and to take action against climate issues locally. The Project targets 13,902 youth (15-24 years) over 3 years (2021-2023).
